Former Chief Economist for the World Bank, Shanta Devarajan, speaks Friday, February 24, in conversation with college professors about “Economies in Economic Crisis” with a focus on protecting the vulnerable.

Prof. Devarajan has an international reputation which includes the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and appointment to the Presidential Advisory Group in Sri Lanka.

He will speak about Sri Lanka’s economic crisis – why it happened and how it can emerge stronger. Oberlin professors Eve Sandberg, Rudabeh Shahid, and Udara Peiris join the conversation about policies, politics, and protecting the vulnerable.
