Finney Chapel 90 North Professor Street, Oberlin, OH 44074

Conductor, pianist, composer, and teacher, Robert Spano ’84 is known worldwide for his intense artistry and distinct communicative ability. In this moderated Q&A with Oberlin Conservatory Dean Andrea Kalyn, Spano will be speaking on the topic of the "State of the Art," drawing on his own successful career with the Atlanta Symphony, and offering perspectives on the innovative ways new generations of musicians are forging careers in the arts.
