Denim Day is an annual event held in April to raise awareness about sexual violence and victim-blaming. It began in response to a controversial Italian court ruling that overturned a rape conviction, arguing that the victim’s tight jeans implied consent. Participants wear denim to stand in solidarity with survivors and challenge harmful misconceptions about sexual assault.
