Singer-songwriter Kate Bollinger, based in Richmond, Virginia, started by releasing her self-recorded original songs online in 2013 and began to play local shows before the release of her first EP, Key West, in 2017. Bollinger states that some of her musical influences include the band of Montreal, Bonnie Rait, and Feist.
