Chair Yoga with Audrey Kolb

Chair yoga classes take place sitting in a chair.  The stretches are very gentle and are designed  for those who are recovering from injury or just want a relaxing, gentle class which will stretch the body but is not too strenuous.  Also ideal for those recovering from serious illness or injuries.

The benefits of practicing Yoga in chairs are the same as practicing on a floor mat: stretches and strengthens muscles, increases mobility, improves circulation, improves digestive/genitourinary systems, increases energy, reduces tension and stress, increases dopamine; reduces anxiety, reduces adrenaline and cortisol hormones.
