Founded in 2005 by Kim Faber, the SITES program recruits and trains Oberlin College students to teach Spanish in the Oberlin Elementary School. SITES students receive a rigorous pedagogical training, grow their competency in Spanish, and provide an important service to the broader community. SITES is paired with EDUA301: Language Pedagogy and plays a central role in the Education Studies Integrative Concentration.
