Oberlin College will celebrate Constitution Day with a lecture by Steve Dettelbach, former U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Ohio and federal prosecutor.

About Steve Dettelbach

Steve Dettelbach has spent over two decades as a prosecutor, and, based on the recommendation of U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, served nearly seven years as the presidentially appointed United States Attorney for Northern District of Ohio. Dettelbach is a native Clevelander with a long record of public service as a prosecutor, a civil rights attorney, and an Ohio Ethics Commissioner. As U.S. attorney, the office achieved major convictions in cases involving public corruption, corporate fraud, and hate crimes.

He is currently partner at BakerHostetler in Cleveland, and is campaiging for Ohio Attorney General.
