Harel Max is an Israeli visual artist working in the mediums of performance art and video art. His work has shown in the Museum for Islamic Art in Jerusalem as well as in festivals and galleries around Israel.
The artist’s talk, "Boarders SPilling Over," will explore the relationship between political borders and performance art in Israel, from the 1970s to the present, including discussion of the artist’s own work. The performance art show will explore themes of memory, mourning, and (em/dis)placement.
