As part of Black History Month, Latinx Music Union has collaborated with Oberlin College Black Musicians Guild and the Oberlin Jazz Society to invite the Afro-Puerto Rican dance group Instituto Folclórico Puertorriqueño Rafael Cepeda Atiles.

This institution is responsible for celebrating what is Bomba and Plena, percussion-driven musical traditions from Puerto Rico that move people to dance. Modesto Cepeda, winner of the National Heritage Fellowship Award, will be joining us!
