Dr. Trouet is a dendroclimatologist: she uses the rings in trees to study the climate of the past and how it has influenced ecosystems and human history. She is the author of “Tree Story; The History of the World Written in Tree Rings.” Which is a broad audience book about tree rings, climate history, and human history.
