Bécquer Seguín´s new book, The Op-Ed Novel: A Literary History of Post-Franco Spain (Harvard UP), tells the story of how five Spanish novelists changed contemporary fiction through their opinion columns. It's about how literature and politics--and fiction and nonfiction--blend together.
