Imagine decorating your residence hall or office with a real Renoir. You can through the Allen Memorial Art Musuem's annual Art Rental Program. Through the Art Rental Program, students can rent works by Monet, Picasso, Warhol, and many other major artists.
Rental line forms outside back courtyard doors (north side of the building, off Lorain Street); students may line up at the bottom of the entrance ramp. Please don’t block door. Art rental takes place on a first-come, first-served basis. Students must hold their own place in line.
Beginning at 8 am, students will be admitted to are rental in groups of five.
A maximum of two works only can be rented.
Students may select one or two artworks and take them to the checkout desk, have a valid Oberlin College I.D. and cash or check ready. Sorry, no credit cards.
Cost: $5.00 per work per semester.
Oberlin College faculty and staff also may rent but, like students, must hold their own place in line.
Exit down north stairs and out the rear door of the museum. No works may be carried through the museum galleries.
Be careful to hold the works firmly and try not to bang frames on stairs or museum fixtures.
