Oberlin College and Conservatory

Apollo Theatre: F9

Friday, June 25

Apollo Theatre
19 East College Street, Oberlin, OH 44074

The historic Apollo Theatre in Oberlin, Ohio, reopened to the public on June 4, after being closed since March, 2020, due to the pandemic. As with most movie theaters in the Greater Cleveland area, the theater will abide by Cinema Safe standards (cinemasafe.org).  Patrons and staff will be required to wear masks.  All safety and health policies will be reviewed and updated as necessary.

The Apollo Theatre in Oberlin is synonymous with consistent family friendly movies shown at reasonable prices. Since 1913, the downtown movie house has opened its doors to enthusiastic patrons, ready to see the latest offering. Renovated in 2011, the single-screen main theater has 411 seats and a 61-seat screening room on the ground level. Currently, the capacity in each theater has been reduced by fifty percent to maintain appropriate social distancing.
