Anxiety is a normal part of life and at times can be helpful and productive! Yet, when anxiety becomes overwhelming, constant feelings of inadequacy or “survival mode” can prevent us from enjoying life or engaging in valued activities and accomplishing our goals.
This three session, skills-based workshop is for students who desire to have better skills for managing anxiety. The group will increase understanding about the function and process of anxiety, provide alternate ways to cope with anxiety, and increase confidence and acceptance in your relationship with anxiety in order to improve your quality of life and way of relating to yourself.
The workshop will be offered throughout the semester. Please plan to attend all three sessions in a module to obtain the most benefit.
