Anxiety Toolbox

Friday, December 13, 2019 at 12:15pm to 1:15pm

Student Health and Counseling Center, Take a seat in the Lobby
140 W. College St., Oberlin, Ohio 44074

Anxiety is a normal part of life and at times can be helpful and productive! Yet, when anxiety becomes overwhelming, constant feelings of inadequacy or “survival mode” can prevent us from enjoying life or engaging in valued activities and accomplishing our goals.

This skills-based group is for students who desire to have better skills for managing anxiety. The group will increase understanding about the function and process of anxiety, provide alternate ways to cope with anxiety, and increase confidence and acceptance in your relationship with anxiety in order to improve your quality of life and way of relating to yourself.

This three-session workshop will run in three modules throughout the semester beginning October 4, November 1, and November 22.
