The Department of Comparative American Studies (CAS) will host its annual Keywords Panel. This year the keyword is "activism" and the panelists are:

Linda Diaz, CAST major rep, 4th year
Meredith Gadsby, associate professor, Africana studies
Tamika Nunley, assistant professor, history
Julio Reyes,, assistant director, Student Outreach & Success, Multicultural Resource Center

The annual event asks CAS staff, faculty and students to reflect on the ways a keyword from American studies inform their scholarship, professional work, learning, and teaching. This year's panel—members of the CAS Program Committee—will discuss their relationship to activism in their work at Oberlin and beyond.
