Alyssa Kai, from Great Falls in the hills of Western Massachusetts, brings finely wrought lyrics and breakneck harmonic shifts to the great and unthinkable problems of trauma and mental illness.

Foster Carrots, a DC-based songwriter, makes queer-centric devotional pop about trauma, love, identity, and survival. Together, they use their craft to open apertures through which a collective reflection on harm can in occur in a robust, careful, and reflective environment.
