Activism and Organizing Panel and Workshop
About this Event
10 North Professor Street, Oberlin, OH 44074
This event is a collaboration between Afrikan Heritage House and the Bonner Center. The purpose of the event is to help students understand the historical context of activism and organizing from multiple perspectives, and engage students in meaningful discussion about Civic Engagement in all of its forms. We are hoping that students can learn about successful social movements and practice effective tools that include and go beyond general protest to affect sustainable change. This event is open to all---students, faculty, staff, and community members!
