Clarence Ward Art Library, Allen Memorial Art Building

The collection includes architecture, painting, sculpture, prints and drawings, new media, photography, and the decorative arts from pre-history to the present with particular strengths in ancient, medieval, Renaissance, baroque and modern art, American architecture, and the arts of Japan and China. Materials on anthropology, archeology, and landscape architecture are also represented. Located on the top floor of the Allen Art Building, the library is named after Clarence Ward, director of the Allen Memorial Art Museum and professor of architectural history from 1917 to 1948.
