The SEED house at 20/22 E. Lorain St. (across from the Allen Memorial Art Museum) is an eight-person theme house centered around creative and sustainable living practices. Goals include creating a diverse community of people dedicated to making affordable and practical lifestyle changes to shrink our collective ecological footprint. Aside from our everyday green practices, we have a sophisticated energy monitoring system that allows us to track our real-time carbon footprint—potentially making us one of the only houses in the country to do so.
See a composting demonstration at 2:00 p.m. and learn more about greywater systems, composting, and other green skills from SEED House residents! Coordinators: MJ Robinson ’14 and Mirelle Thaler ’14.
