Oberlin Summer Theater Festival: Light Up The Sky

Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 7:00pm

Hall Auditorium
67 North Main Street, Oberlin, OH 44074

The Oberlin Summer Theater Festival (OSTF) produces family friendly classics in rotating repertory. This professional theater company, now entering its fifth season, is made up of Equity and non-Equity actors, directors, and crew members locally and from across the country, as well as Oberlin alumni and current students.

This summer, OSTF will present The Diary of Anne Frank (June 28 to August 2) Twelfth Night (July 5 to August 3) and  Light up the Sky (July 12 to August 3).

In this semi-autobiographical comedy by Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Moss Hart (You Can’t Take It With You, Once in a Lifetime), a young playwright’s idealism is severely challenged by the temperaments of his collaborators – the producer, the director, the star, and her mother. This classic comedy reveals the roller-coaster process of mounting a Broadway show.

All performances are free but tickets are required. Call 440-775-8169 or send e-mail to ostf@oberlin.edu.
