Gene Baur, president and co-founder of Farm Sanctuary, the nation's largest farm animal sanctuary and animal rescue network, will be speaking about his work documenting conditions, both for animals and workers, in slaughterhouses, factory farms, and stockyards around the country. Author of the book Farm Sanctuary: Changing Hearts and Minds About Animals and Food, Baur will explore topics in animal rights, food justice, and social justice.
